The search for Burning Shadows’ new permanent drummer continues. We urge you to harass everyone you know to help us out with our drummer quest!

The new Burning Shadows stickers have arrived! They are high-quality vinyl and feature the Burning Shadows logo and the almighty phrase, “True. Epic. Steel.” The stickers measure 8″ (20cm) by 2.75″ (7cm). Place them upon your vehicle, guitar case (as pictured), or on the lifeless carcass of your enemy!

Thomen Stauch, ex-Blind Guardian, ex-Savage Circus, (now ex-Burning Shadows) has been fired from Burning Shadows.
When approached for comment, Burning Shadows lead vocalist Tom Davy said, “He’d constantly stop songs when I’d start singing. He would shout, ‘That’s not how Hansi would’ve done it!'”
“He also kept trying to get us to fire [bassist] Aaron so we could rehire him as a permanent session musician,” said rhythm guitarist Tim Regan.
The band is now continuing its search for a new drummer.
We are proud to announce the addition of ex-Blind Guardian, ex-Savage Circus drummer, Thomen Stauch, to Burning Shadows!
“Since adding Thomen, we have rewritten our unreleased songs. I’d say they sound a lot like Blind Guardian’s Somewhere Far Beyond,” Greg Jones said in a recent interview. “He, well, pretty much insisted on it.”
Burning Shadows will be releasing their second album, Imaginations From the Thousand Lies this fall.

Burning Shadows is in search of a new drummer, for our previous one has been banished to the Frozen North.
As you may know, we have many irons in the fire this year. We don’t expect this unfortunate setback to derail our plans. So, tell your metal brethren! Spread the word! The quest for a new drummer has begun!

Update: We have aligned a session drummer for recording the next album this summer if we fail to find a new drummer in time.

The Media, Shows, and Reviews pages of the website have been updated. Before, this page would show you the 5 most recent “Media” posts (for example), whether they be images, videos, or music, and have a link at the bottom for older posts. Now, this page lists all media posts sorted by category then date. It is much easier to find things now.
To make it more interesting, some new items were added: old promo photos, links to some old videos, and a section for flyers. More content will be added here, both new and old soon.
The new Shows page contains links to info for recent/upcoming shows and links to the complete Burning Shadows Show Archives.
The new Reviews page shows reviews grouped by album or show.

Part of the new burningshadows.com‘s mission is to chronicle the extensive and epic history of the band. In accordance with this, the band’s entire list of shows since the band first took to the stage in 2002 has been added to the site. Show information migrated from the previous website (late 2007 – autumn 2009) is largely unformatted. Show information from the original website is somewhat easier to read. For most shows, a set list has been included.
